The photos are taken by Sam Huibers. He is the owner of PICS and an experienced professional photographer. All photos on this website were taken by him. Only in exceptional situations and force majeure, such as illness, will PICS assist in finding another photographer. PICS has an extensive network of professional photographers.

PICS is located in Amsterdam.We are active throughout the Netherlands. Outside Amsterdam we charge 0.21 cents per kilometer.

PICS is affiliated with the professional association of professional photographers DuPho with membership number 52821. Firstly, membership at DuPho is a kind of seal of approval. When registering with the professional association DuPho, the portfolio was assessed and experience and training in the field of photography were examined. In addition, DuPho's general terms and conditions apply to PICS. These are clear and give unambiguous terms. DuPho's terms and conditions can be found at the bottom of the link on the PICS website. Yes, that is well arranged at PICS & VIDS . Fortunately it has never happened, but we are just normal people and can always get sick. PICS & VIDS works together with independent professionals in the industry. We have backups for both photo reports and videography. In addition, we are registered with the professional association of professional photographers DuPho and we can always rely on its members. We also have an extensive network of professional photographers and videographers which we always can rely on.

PICS continues to invest in the latest technologies. At the moment I use, among others, a professional Nikon Z9 system camera, Nikon's flagship. This gives you beautiful images in a very high resolution (40 MP camera), which makes the images extremely suitable for professional printing and enlargements for the wall. The camera is also silent; you will therefore not hear any disturbing clicks during a ceremony or report. Video recording in HD quality is also possible up to 8k, also suitable for a television screen. Of course I also have a new professional backup camera from Nikon, with the same image and video specifications as the Z9. This is a versatile flash with a very long range. For software, PICS has a continuous subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud solutions. This means that PICS always has the latest version of, among others, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for professional post-processing and archiving of photos.

A customer site is your own web page with a slideshow of a selection of photos with music of your choice. The customer site is located in a shielded private environment and is secured with an access code. You can share the link and access code yourself with family and friends. The customer site is free and is online for 2 months. To save the slideshow yourself and to view it on your phone, computer or TV after this period, the slideshow is available in the webshop. Every customer site has a webshop where professional photo prints and premium products can be ordered. As a customer of PICS you will receive for wedding reports and funerals a special discount code of 10% on all your orders. This discount also applies to family and friends. Yes, this is of course possible. We provide all photos in high resolution. With this you can also have enlargements made for the wall.
